The headphones are designed with a detachable, magnetic visor that allows you to breathe in clean air. The “precision-engineered” compressors in each earcup draw in air, filtering "99 percent of particle pollution as small as 0.1 microns," according to Dyson, and then delivers the purified air to the nose and mouth via the visor. The filter lasts for up to 12 months before needing to be replaced. Shoppers should note that the headphones don't protect against COVID-19.

In terms of noise cancellation, the headphones "deliver up to 50 hours of ultra-low distortion, advanced noise cancellation and faithful, full-spectrum audio reproduction," Dyson said, with both "isolation" or "transparency" noise cancelling options that can be  controlled (along with airflow speed) through the MyDyson app.

While we haven't tested the Dyson Zone yet and are unsure how they'll stack up against the best noise-canceling headphones, it's safe to say they're certainly one of the most unique pairs of headphones on the market thanks to the air filtration feature alone.
