Dusty Baker wins his first World Series title as manager with the Houston Astros
When the Houston Astros won Game 4 of the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies with a combined no-hitter, manager Dusty Baker talked about how it reminded him of when the Phillies' Roy Halladay no-hit the Cincinnati team Baker managed in the 2010 National League Division Series.
On Saturday night, Baker, who managed the Reds from 2008 to 2013 in addition to 10 seasons with the San Francisco Giants, four with the Chicago Cubs and two with the Washington Nationals, celebrated his first World Series championship as a manager in his third season with Houston.
Social media reactions to Baker's feat:

Dusty Baker is no longer the manager with the most wins not to win a World Series title. Baker has done it, in his 25th season, at age 73.

Dusty Baker went FORTY YEARS in between World Series titles, after winning in 1981 as a player
That’s the most years b/w any 2 World Series wins as player (min 1 PS game played) and/or manager
Prior longest such stretch: 29 years, by Bob Lemon
NEVER GIVE UP
