Drew Barrymore Details Every Mom's Nightmare Sleepover Scenario: 'So Embarrassed'

The secondhand embarrassment is SO real.

Drew Barrymore maintains her title as a relatable queen following a new storytime she shared on Instagram early this afternoon, Feb. 17.

From the struggles of shopping for your specific body type to DIY mishaps, the 50 First Dates star is piling onto the list with a new horror story from a recent sleepover she hosted for her kids and, as it turns out, it's just as cringy—if not more so—coming from her as it is thinking about it happening to us.

"My pillows are stained and the stuffing is coming out," the mother of two, 47, said with distaste as the video opened to find her standing in the middle of a home store.

"I had a sleepover and I pulled out our pullout couch and there was a giant stain on the mattress. And I was so embarrassed in front of my daughter's friends, and then I was just like, 'You know what, kids, get out of the room,' like, 'I've got this,' and Frankie was like, 'What's that big stain?!'"

She sighed, putting her face in her hands in defeat before the footage shifted to show her selecting new pillows. "Haul. Pillow haul!" she said excitedly, throwing two onto her pile before heading off to look for more.

She wore a red, white and blue striped scarf around her neck, which honestly gave the same vibe as a seamstress wearing a measuring tape around her neck, as she ran frantically from display to display, choosing the winning options.

Plenty of viewers knew exactly how she felt.

"This is how you know know that Drew is just like us 🤣," one fan appreciated, while another said, "You are so adorably real."

Others sympathized, sharing their own horror stories. "We have them too! Baby and kid slobber! Bottles that leaked. You're not alone girlfriend. You can't have anything nice with kids!!!!😉😄," one said.

"When I was 12, I had a friend come round for a sleepover, and she brought her own pillow and duvet. My mum set up the pull out bed. When we went up a few hours later, my cat had pooped on her pillow 😳🙈🙈 I was mortified. He'd never done anything like that ever 🙈🙈," shared another.

Others offered practical solutions, like, "Leave clean sheets on the pullout couch. No one will ever know😎"

The store, abc carpet & home's outlet, located in Brooklyn, NY, also commented, thanking her for shopping with them. "We love having you in store 💖✨🫶🏼"
