Dolphins rookie Jevon Holland among top 10 vote-getters at free safety for Pro Bowl
The rest of the NFL is catching on to Jevon Holland’s talent.
Despite being a rookie, Holland has received the 10th-most votes from fans at free safety in final voting for the Pro Bowl, a league source told The Post on Monday.

Fan voting counts for one-third toward determining the Pro Bowl rosters. Balloting of players and coaches each account for the other 33 percent.
The NFL will release full Pro Bowl rosters at 8 p.m. Wednesday on NFL Network.
Four other Dolphins made the fans’ top 10 at their respective positions.
Xavien Howard, who made the Pro Bowl in 2018 and 2020, is No. 6 among cornerbacks.
Mike Gesicki, seeking his first Pro Bowl appearance, is sixth among tight ends.
Michael Palardy has the eighth-most votes among punters and Emmanuel Ogbah is 10th at defensive end.
Ogbah and Gesicki are in contract years.
Holland, 21, taken in the second round (36th overall), has started 10 games and recorded two interceptions, nine passes defensed, two fumbles caused, three fumble recoveries, two tackles for loss, six quarterback hits, two sacks and 51 tackles.
The Pro Bowl is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Tampa Bay’s Tom Brady is the leader at quarterback, followed by the Chargers’ Justin Herbert, Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes, the Rams’ Matthew Stafford, Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers, Buffalo’s Josh Allen, Dallas’ Dak Prescott, Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson, Arizona’s Kyler Murray and Minnesota’s Kirk Cousins.
The leaders at each position: Kansas City rookie Creed Humphrey (center), San Francisco’s Trent Williams (tackle), Cleveland’s Joel Bitonio (guard), Kansas City’s Travis Kelce (tight end), Indianapolis’ Jonathan Taylor (running back), San Francisco’s Kyle Juszczyk (fullback) and Green Bay’s Davante Adams (receiver).
On defense: San Francisco’s Nick Bosa (end), the Rams’ Aaron Donald (tackle), Tennessee’s Kevin Byard (free safety), Pittsburgh’s T.J. Watt (outside linebacker), Dallas rookie Micah Parsons (inside linebacker), Dallas’ Trevon Diggs (cornerback), Kansas City’s Tyrann Mathieu (strong safety).
Special teams: Baltimore’s Justin Tucker (kicker), New England’s Joe Cardona (long snapper), Seattle’s Michael Dickson (punter), Washington’s DeAndre Carter (return specialist), Seattle’s Nick Bellore (special teams specialist).
In addition to Byard, the AFC safeties listed ahead of Holland are Buffalo's Micah Hyde, Denver's Justin Simmons, Pittsburgh's Minkah Fitzpatrick (an ex-Dolphin) and New England's Devin McCourty.
Several names of players selected to the Pro Bowl have been leaked: Brady, Donald, Rams WR Cooper Kupp, Kelce and Taylor. Also, five members of the Browns: Bitonio, RB Nick Chubb, DE Myles Garrett, G Wyatt Teller, CB Denzel Ward. Three Vikings: RB Dalvin Cook, WR Justin Jefferson, S Harrison Smith. And two members of the Bears, both ex-Dolphins: DE Robert Quinn and kick returner Jakeem Grant.
