Dolphins announce new jersey numbers, including the first player to wear No. 0
The Dolphins on Monday announced jersey numbers for new and returning players, including the first player in franchise history who will wear No. 0.
Wide receiver Braxton Berrios, who wore No. 10 with the New York Jets, will wear No. 0 after a rule change by the NFL in March expanded the list of jersey numbers that some players can use. Berrios previously shared an image of him in the No. 0 on social media.
Cornerback Kader Kohou, who wore No. 28 as a rookie, is also switching numbers, wearing No. 4 in 2023. Like Berrios, Kohou previously alluded to changing his number on social media.
Running back Myles Gaskin is going back to No. 37, the number he wore in the first three years of his career. Gaskin wore No. 3 in the 2022 season, but that number will now be worn by wide receiver Chosen Anderson, whom the Dolphins signed last month.
Jersey numbers for members of the Dolphins’ 2023 draft class have not yet been announced.
