New Disney license plate now available in Florida. Here's how much it is and how to get it

If you’re in Florida and made a wish upon a star for a new Disney World license plate, you’re in luck.

The newly redesigned Walt Disney World specialty license plates are being delivered to tax collector offices and license plate agencies statewide.

Revenue collected will benefit Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida, Disney announced Tuesday.

“Disney is our largest wish granter in the world, and they know just how important it is to create joy and hope for children and families who need it most,” Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida CEO Anne Cuba told Disney. “This new license plate is the latest way we are making big impacts for wish families in Florida, and I can’t wait to see it hit the roads soon as even more Florida drivers join us in making wishes come true.”

How much is the new Disney license plate in Florida and how can you get it?

The new specialty plate is $25 on top of regular registration fees.

Florida residents who purchased presale vouchers for specialty plates can redeem them at their local tax collector's office or license plate agency. Those wishing to purchase the new plate can do so at their local office, according to FLHSMV.

Is the Disney 50th license plate still available?

FLHSMV no longer offers the Disney 50th anniversary license plate.
