Damian Lillard Performs As Dame D.O.L.L.A. At Portland Wedding

Damian Lillard is enjoying the offseason of his athletic career, as the NBA star has spent a chunk of his downtime putting in work under his rap alias Dame D.O.L.L.A. The veteran point guard recently displayed his talents for a newlywed couple during a performance at their wedding in Portland.
TMZ obtained footage of the Oakland native rocking the crowd at the wedding, which was held by Jay and Kelly Virdee, who exchanged vows earlier in the day. After being introduced as a surprise guest by independent rap artist Dreebo – who kept mum on Lillard’s presence up until the moment he grabbed the mic – the perennial All-Star joined his collaborator and longtime friend in a performance of their song “Home Team.”
Lillard’s presence invoked a raucous reaction from the couple, who are apparently big fans of the Portland Trailblazer. Interacting with the groomsmen and other attendees, the rhyming baller gave all in attendance a treat to remember with his impromptu set.
The relationship Lillard, who has spent the entirety of his NBA in Portland, has with the local community is among the strongest of any athlete in the NBA, with his appearance at the Virdee’s wedding one of many examples of that mutual appreciation.
However, the former lottery pick’s days in Portland may be numbered, as he requested a trade from the Trailblazers earlier this summer due to his frustration with the team’s failure to build a championship caliber roster. He has voiced his desire to be traded to the Miami Heat, which played in the NBA Finals in June, falling to the Denver Nuggets in five games.
