Rubber storage bins and a dismemberment

According to a preliminary investigation, about midnight Friday, investigators executed a search warrant on a storage unit rented by the defendant using one of the victims’ names.

Inside, police located the bodies of both men in rubber storage bins, prosecutors said.

The body of a man, tentatively identified as Schukin, had been dismembered. Bleach, rubber gloves and items belonging to the dead were also located, according to the release.

The local medical examiner's office ruled both victims' cause of death as homicide.
