See the Last Photo Tina Turner Shared on Social Media Before Death
Tina Turner's final photo showed a candid side to the iconic late singer.
Though the singer wasn't active much on social media in the last years leading to her death, Turner shared her final photo in March 2021. In the image uploaded on Twitter, she appears fresh-faced wearing all black, standing in front of a paused TV showing her HBO documentary TINA.
In a message accompanying the picture, she wrote, "Only 5 days left! This Saturday, the documentary TINA will be released. I am so excited to share this movie with you—seeing the concert scenes made me relive some of my proudest moments in life. I simply had to sing along and dance around my living room!"

After 2021, the singer didn't tweet directly, instead opting to have her team post on her behalf. However, in tweets seemingly written by herself, Turner expressed being proud of her accomplishments. When she was announced to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, she tweeted, "As you can surely tell from my beaming smile: I am thrilled to now be officially inducted into the @rockhall as a solo artist. What an honor! I am grateful to so many people who stood by me on my journey here – especially you, dear fans. Keep on rocking! 💃🏿."
She also would tweet in celebration of her famous friends' birthdays, including Wayne Shorter and Mick Jagger.
Joyful wishes to @Wayne_Shorter on 88 years! Here we are performing together in 1976. As I describe in my book “Happiness Becomes You,” it was Wayne & Ana Shorter who gave me safe harbor as I relaunched my life, for which I’m forever grateful. #wayneshorter #happinessbecomesyou pic.twitter.com/pSsaZ8Fsu2
