Know what these Winter Olympics need? More dinosaurs!
The Olympics may not have started yet, but already the gold medal for the Weirdest Crossover Advertising Event goes to…Jurassic World: Dominion.
To promote both the Games and the movie, which will hit theaters June 10, Universal Pictures and NBC Sports are releasing three ads featuring top-notch U.S. Olympians in their element. Along with, well, dinosaurs.

The first ad shows skier Mikaela Shiffrin racing down a mountain to flee a velociraptor (only to meet something worse):
The second features figure skater Nathan Chen just minding his own business and practicing his routine on a frozen Alpine lake before coming face to face with a pack of Parasaurolophus.
Last but not least, watch snowboarder Shaun White do flips through the sky before realizing that something huge is watching him:
Once you get over the sheer randomness of the concept, it turns out the combination of world-class athletes and terrifying/awe-inspiring dinosaurs is actually pretty cool.
