Mike Pence Deflects Question About Wife Karen Pence's Viral Donald Trump Snub

Former Vice President Mike Pence was asked about his wife Karen Pence’s apparent snub of President-elect Donald Trump at the funeral service of former President Jimmy Carter.

Footage of the former second lady remaining seated and not shaking Trump’s hand went viral last week.

Christianity Today’s Russell Moore asked Mike Pence about the moment in an interview. He commented: “You’d have to ask my wife about her posture, but we’ve been married 44 years and she loves her husband and her husband respects her deeply.”

Karen Pence has not commented on what went down.

Mike Pence’s relationship with Trump turned sour after the vice president refused to assist Trump in overturning President Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.

Trump’s peddling of the lie that he actually beat Biden incited a violent mob of his supporters to storm the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Some even built a gallows as they chanted “Hang Mike Pence!”
