If there was ever a fast food beauty pageant, Chick-fil-A would win the title of Miss Congeniality.

According to restaurant industry magazine QSR, an extensive study revealed that the fried chicken joint's employees were more polite than 14 other national chains.

QSR's research team went through drive-thru lanes 1,948 times to collect the data that ranged from looking customers in the eye to saying "please" and "thank you." They also recorded the number of instances when an employee had an overall "pleasant demeanor." While this may certainly be a subjective interpretation, Chick-fil-A's result of of 93.4 percent far surpassed competitors like Burger King, McDonald's and Wendy's, which all failed to break 84 percent.

We seem to hear nothing but horror stories about working at fast food restaurants, but maybe Chick-fil-A is on to something when it comes to overall employee and customer satisfaction. Or maybe the fried chicken, waffle fries and lemonade are enough to make anyone happy. It's all food for thought.
