Ariana Grande’s Boyfriend Ethan Slater Alleged Told His Ex-Wife He Has Taken This Major Step With the Singer
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater might both be still legally married to other people but that hasn’t stopped them from accelerating their relationship, according to sources.
The two, who met and reportedly started dating on the set of their upcoming movie Wicked while still with their now-estranged spouses, are allegedly living together in NYC. “Ethan informed his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife that he’s living with Ariana full-time in New York,” an insider told Us Weekly.

“They’re really happy and really good for each other,” the source continued. “All of her friends love him.”
Slater, 31, filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay in July shortly after accusations emerged that he had Grande, 30, had an affair while filming in London. Slater and Jay had reportedly been together for 10 years and share a son who was born in 2022.

Grande filed for divorce from her husband, real estate agent Dalton Gomez, in September after first stepping out without her wedding ring in July. Gomez and Grande married in May 2021 after beginning their relationship in early 2020.
It was reported that Grande and Gomez had been having issues for months and officially called off their marriage in January. The Grammy winner and Slater met a month earlier when production on Wicked began.

When claims about the couple’s alleged affair first emerged, sources accused the two of being “sloppy” on set and alleged that their fling was an open secret. “They were seen being all over each other while he was still supposedly happily married to Lilly,” a source revealed to the Daily Mail. “They were seen making out at a pub in Hampstead, and they were all over each other at Michelle Yeoh’s Oscar party [in March].”
It was also alleged that Grande and Slater had gone on double dates with their respective partners and Grande had even met Slater’s son. For her part, Lilly Jay has spoken out to criticize the “God is a Woman” singer and said she’s “not a girl’s girl.”
However, despite the backlash Slater and Grande clearly seem to be going strong and were even seen on a public outing recently, proving their undeterred by the accusations.
