Jesse Watters’ Thanksgiving Snub By Mom Has Critics Cackling
Fox News’ Jesse Watters aired footage on Monday of liberals talking about not inviting their President-elect Donald Trump-supporting friends and family over for Thanksgiving.
Then he revealed, “People are taking some space in the Watters household. I’ll have you know that I was not invited to my mother’s house for Thanksgiving. Apparently, there wasn’t enough room. She said it was a scheduling situation and then, at the last second, invited me to come over on Black Friday. I told her no thanks, ‘I’ll be at Best Buy.’”

Critics on social media lapped up the moment:
A “scheduling situation” 🤣🤣🤣
She knew when Thanksgiving would be scheduled since last year 🤣🤣🤣— Official Judge Pan Fan Club (@WiGovPR) November 12, 2024
I can't wait to use the "scheduling situation" excuse on my family.

What kind of asshole disses his mother on national television?

It’s unclear how tongue-in-cheek Watters was being with his claim about his mom, Democratic voter Anne Watters. But she does have a long history of calling out her son’s pro-Trump views and his racist and sexist comments.
When the anchor officially took over the 8 p.m. slot from the fired Tucker Carlson in 2023, she called in with some advice. “Do not tumble into any conspiracy rabbit holes. We do not want to lose you, and we want no lawsuits,” said Anne Watters at the time. “In keeping with the Hippocratic oath, do no harm. We need you to be kind and respectful.”
“Seek solution versus fanning the flames,” she added, before saying of Trump: “You could encourage that Bedminster friend of yours to return to his earlier career on television. Everyone in his audience could wear a red hat, and I’m sure the ratings would soar, although never as high, my darling, as yours, on ‘Jesse Watters Primetime.’”
This really did happen. She's called in before but I think this is the longest amount of screen time Jesse Watters' mother has ever gotten before. A therapist would have a field day with this one. pic.twitter.com/ZqA6iZ5BCQ

In May, Watters revealed on the air that his mom sent him repeated text messages about Trump’s 34 felony convictions in his hush money trial.
“My mom is celebrating. She texted me that she was dancing after the verdict. Dancing. And then she kept all day sending me 34, 34, 34 felony counts,” Watters said. “She’s a grandmother. She’s a grandmother. Get it together, mom. Oh my God.”
