Clemson football without Andrew Mukuba, Cole Turner in home opener vs Charleston Southern

CLEMSON — Clemson football will be without two contributors when it takes on Charleston Southern at Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

Wide receiver Cole Turner and starting nickelback Andrew Mukuba will miss the Week 2 matchup with injuries, according to a team release. Both are considered day-to-day, per a team spokesman.

Mukuba, a junior, had six tackles, 0.5 tackle for loss and a fumble recovery in the season opener against Duke on Monday. Behind him on the depth chart at nickel is freshman Khalil Barnes.
