Chick-fil-a announces opening date for newest OKC location
Lovers of Chick-fil-A, rejoice! The Oklahoma City metro will be home to yet another of the fast-food fried chicken sandwich restaurants when its newest franchise location opens at 1409 NW Expressway on Jan. 5.
The Classen Point location is near the intersection of Classen and Northwest Expressway, not far from the Penn Square Mall. It will be open 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The location is expected to employ approximately 80 full and part-time team members.
As part of the opening day festivities, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new location to help partner agencies in the Oklahoma city area fight hunger.
Additionally, Chick-fil-A will be surprising "100 local heroes making an impact in the Oklahoma City area with free Chick-fil-A for a year," according to the company's release.
