Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields 'turns on the speed,' records four TDs vs. Detroit Lions

Justin Fields has seemingly found his groove with the Chicago Bears.

The former Ohio State quarterback recorded his second-straight game with more than 100 yards rushing in Sunday's 31-30 loss to the Detroit Lions, recording 147 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.

Fields also added two touchdowns in the passing game, throwing two touchdown passes to tight end Cole Kmet, and finishing with 12 completions on 20 attempts for 167 yards, also adding an interception.

Fields' interception, which was returned for a touchdown by Detroit Lions and former Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah for a touchdown, was his first since Oct. 24.

Through 10 games, Fields has 1,489 passing yards with a 58.9% completion rate, throwing 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also has 749 rushing yards and six touchdowns, averaging 7.2 yards per carry.

Justin Fields had only one 100-yard rushing game with Ohio State football

Coming into Ohio State with one 100-yard rushing game against Massachusetts when he was at Georgia, Fields didn't have the same success running the ball as he does with the Bears.

Fields had only one game where he rushed for more than 100 yards in an Ohio State uniform, recording 104 rushing yards and two touchdowns against Michigan State in 2020.

In three collegiate seasons, Fields averaged 4.4 yards per carry, recording 19 touchdowns on 260 carries.

In the passing game, Fields recorded 5,701 passing yards, 67 touchdowns and nine interceptions on 423 completions.
