Chehalis Police Seek Information on Sexual Misconduct Case Involving Massage Therapist
Jun. 26—The Chehalis Police Department is asking any potential victims in a sexual misconduct case involving a massage business in the 2500 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue to come forward.
The case was opened after a victim reported a possible assault at the business at 10:52 a.m. on June 23, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
"Officers contacted the victim, who informed them that while receiving a massage at the business, they were touched inappropriately in a sexual nature," the department stated in a news release on Monday, June 26.
"Over the last several days, other potential victims have come forward," the department stated, encouraging "anyone who believes they may have been a victim or has any additional information on this investigation" to contact Det. Jeff Fithen at 360-748-8605.
The suspect, who has been identified by the Chehalis Police Department as Michael P. Frietze, 46, of Chehalis, has since been arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the news release. His name was not listed on the jail's roster as of 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
"The case is still under investigation and no further details are being released at this time," the Chehalis Police Department stated in a news release.
Charges against Frietze had not been filed as of Monday afternoon.
