Buc-ee’s is planning a new location in Ohio, two hours from Indianapolis
The cleanest restrooms in the country will soon be just a two-hour road trip away from Indianapolis. Oh, and they’re housed within 24/7 convenience store and gas station, Buc-ee’s.
The first Buc-ee’s store in the state of Ohio is in the works, according to a FaceBook post by Huber Heights Mayor Jeff Gore. The 74,000-square-foot store will open in Huber Heights at the northeast corner of I-70 and State Route 235 and will be the closest Buc-ee’s location to Indiana.
The site will have 120 fueling stations and 698 parking spots (including 24 Tesla parking spots).
The Ohio location marks Buc-ee’s expansion into the Midwest, with the first Midwest store under construction in Springfield, Missouri, slated to open later this year. First opened in 1982, the Texas-based chain is known for its 24-hour convenience, its beaver nuggets and, of course, its award-winning bathrooms. In 2012, the Buc-ee’s location in New Braunfels won the America’s Best Restroom award by Cintas.
August 10, 2023 will go down as the day that Ohio found out that it was getting its first ever Buc-ee’s. Never forget. 🦫🫡 https://t.co/3qA1oW3RYR
