Boda's Restaurant in Fond du Lac is 'good to go' after cleaning up from a weekend fire
FOND DU LAC – Boda's Restaurant and Catering, 277 S. Pioneer Road, is back open after a weekend closure.
An evening basement fire briefly closed the restaurant Aug. 11. According to Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue, no one was in the business at the time, and the fire was confined to the mechanical room, having self-extinguished with the door closed. A neighbor had noticed the sound of the smoke detectors.
Now, Boda's is ready to re-welcome customers.
"We got it all cleaned up, and we're good to go," owner Mike Abler told The Reporter.

Boda's Restaurant and Catering offers breakfast at the restaurant and caters small and large events with appetizers, entrees and desserts. It also provides the regular Friday Night Fish Fry at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 270 club, 515 N. Park Ave.
