NEW: Blue chip RB Caden Durham commits to LSU
LSU has landed its 23rd overall commitment for the 2024 recruiting class in four-star running back Caden Durham from Duncanville, Texas.
Durham had trimmed his list of schools down to Texas A&M, Oklahoma and LSU prior to his commitment with the Tigers being a heavy favorite to land him. Those projections came to fruition when he chose the Tigers on Thursday.
Durham is the first running back in the 2024 class to choose LSU, so he is in a league of his own. He is a 5-foot-9, 195-pound speedster that will be able to make an impact early in his career on the bayou.

Brian Kelly’s 2024 class will now likely slide back into the top 10 nationally. The Tigers had slid down to 11th in the latest rankings but this signing should place them firmly in the top 10 with plenty more opportunities to land top talent in this class.
The Tigers may not be done getting top players from the state of Texas.
