Big 'thank you' from Holy Angels

Faith Over Fear!

It’s not just a slogan. Here at Holy Angels, it’s a lifestyle.

Since 1955, Holy Angels is a place of loving, living and learning for the differently able. We provide quality care and innovative services for the 85-plus children and adults we serve with intellectual developmental disabilities, many who are medically fragile.

As you can imagine, the past two years have been really difficult for our residents, families and staff, just as it was for many in our community. It was challenging emotionally, physically and spiritually. What is often lost when the world is seemingly in chaos, is all the great victories and triumphs. We call those “mercy moments.”

It’s a mercy moment when a resident works so hard with a physical therapist that she is able to stand for the first time in years. It’s a mercy moment when a staff member courageously cares for a sick resident despite the potential risk of exposure. It’s a mercy moment when an 8-year-old girl sells cookies and toys to raise money to donate to provide recreational equipment for our angels.

These “mercy moments” extended beyond our campus and into our community.

To the grantors, business partners and donors who financially supported us during our greatest time of need to fund personal protective equipment to keep our residents and staff safe: Thank you!

To our healthcare partners who continue to provide care to us and our community: Thank you!

To other frontline workers who put their own lives at risk to keep the world turning: Thank you!

To the businesses that continue to provide us with food, supplies, support and so much more to keep our mission of mercy operating: Thank you!

To those who called or sent cards, texts, notes – your words of kindness keep us going.

While it’s often hard to see through the darkness, especially during a global pandemic, we truly believe our beacon of light that helps guide our way is you, our supporters.

We wish you all the best in 2022.
