'The Bachelor' Announces Major Change to Franchise
The news comes just after the Season 27 finale.
In a post-finale twist only he could have conceived, The Bachelor creator and showrunner Mike Fleiss has left the franchise.

“I want to thank [Warner Bros. Television] and ABC for 21 extraordinary years,” Fleiss said in a statement to TV Line on Tuesday. “They’ve found the perfect creative team for me to entrust The Bachelor franchise and keep this lightning in a bottle bold and moving forward. Let the journey continue.”
Jason Ehrlich, Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner will reportedly pick up the showrunning duties in light of Fleiss' exit.

No reason has yet been provided for Fleiss' resignation from the role.
The Bachelor has been a stalwart ratings juggernaut for ABC for 21 years, though ratings have dropped somewhat steeply within the last three years.
The Season 27 finale of The Bachelor aired Monday.
