'Win every time' with this secret claw machine hack: ‘Most important video I have ever seen’
We’ve all laid eyes on a claw machine at an arcade or supermarket at some point and thought, “I’ll give this a shot. I probably won’t win, but maybe today’s my lucky day.”
But that day is usually not our lucky day, and more often than not, we lose anywhere between 50 cents and $20 trying to nab a stuffed animal with that tricky claw hand before time runs out.
TikTok user ticketmaster1000 has offered a solution to that terrible feeling of defeat you’ve likely experienced in your lifetime. He shared a video explaining how to hack the system.
User lyssynoel tested out his hack, and it worked. Her video then went viral, with more than 1.3 million likes and counting.
Here’s how to “win the claw machine every single time,” according to ticketmaster1000:
Spin the joystick for “a couple seconds” — about 2 to 3.
Push it up 3 times then down 3 times.
Toggle it left, right, up and down.
Press the button that makes the crane rise and fall three times.
Pay for a turn.
Move the claw wherever you would like, then press the button and hold it down.
Do not let go of the button. The claw will automatically grab your prize, lift it up and return it to you, and you don’t have to do a thing.
Ticketmaster1000 said that this secret code puts the machine into “maintenance mode,” which workers use to make sure the game is functioning properly.
Many TikTok users were amazed.
“This might be the most important video I have ever seen,” one wrote.
“Going to that one claw machine with all the iPhones anyone want anything,” another said.
Some verified that the trick worked for them.
“Just watch out tho cuz the people be watching for it. I did it once and got escorted off-premises lol apparently it stays until you undo it,” one said.
“Only do this if ur about to leave cause they are not gonna follow you to get the item back,” another wrote.
Others, however, were skeptical.
“I feel like its a mind game, like bc u do this u have the confidence and therefore do better and u win on your own,” one user said.
“lol is this a [Call of Duty] cheat code,” another joked.
