Watch Meghan Markle dance like an absolute trooper on the first day of the royal Africa tour
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor have touched down in South Africa to kick off their first royal tour as a family. And if there was one thing we didn't realise would be on the agenda, it was seeing Meghan and Harry dance.
Despite the fact the Duke and Duchess' first official engagement took place just a couple of hours after they landed in Cape Town, it doesn't seem as though Meghan Markle is too tired. The mum-of-one energetically joined in with 23-year-old local, Lilitha Mazana, as she danced during the royals' greeting.
Meghan and Harry began their official tour with a visit to the township Nyanga, known as the "murder capital" of South Africa due to its high homicide rates. The Sussexes were there to meet with The Justice Desk charity, which teaches women how to defend themselves from attacks, but before that they made time to greet everyone who had come out to welcome them.
As a group of women danced to African music, Lilitha offered a hand to Meghan who, albeit hesitantly at first, joined in with a bit of movin' and shakin' of her own.

And it's kind of mesmerising to watch. Maybe because Meghan Markle is the Duchess of Sussex. She's a royal, and it's funny to think of royals doing fun things like... letting loose and dancing.
But Meghan wasn't the only one to crack out a shape or two during the township visit; Harry was obviously stirred by the music, too, and showed off his best dad dancing to the crowds.
I mean, we've basically had an insight into Harry and Meghan's first dance now, right?
After all the dancing died down, Meghan took to the microphone to make a poignant speech.
"May I just say that while I'm here, with my husband, as a member of the royal family, I want you to know for me, I'm here as a mother, as a wife, as a woman, as a woman of colour, and as your sister," she said, as the crowd cheered.
"I am here for you, and I'm here with you."
Later this afternoon, the Duke and Duchess will tour District Six, where 60,000 people were forcibly removed because of the colour of their skin during the Apartheid. The royal couple will spend another day together in Cape Town before Prince Harry heads off to tour Botswana, Angola and Malawi while Meghan and Archie stay in South Africa.
Now all we need to top this dancing footage is an outing with Archie in tow, too.
