Arizona State women's basketball begins three-game week at No. 19 Oregon

Arizona State at No. 19 Oregon, 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oregon live stream, KAZG (1440 AM) — ASU (9-7, 1-2 Pac-12) is coming back from its lowest scoring performance of the season in a 78-50 loss at No. 2 Stanford Friday. Guard Jade Loville continued to build off her campaign, shooting eight of ASU's 17 field goals. Loville surpassed her career mark of 1,000 points in the game and finished with 19 points. Oregon (13-5, 5-1 Pac-12) has won six straight games played since losing 80-68 to Stanford on Jan. 7.

In that stretch, the Ducks have defeated No. 7 Arizona in overtime and No. 9 Connecticut, while taking down USC 80-48 on Sunday. Oregon forward Nyara Sabally is averaging 16.4 points per game, putting her at fifth in the conference. Oregon's defense allows 60.6 points per game, but has allowed 58.3 points in its last three. ASU's last win over Oregon came on Jan. 10, 2020, when the Sun Devils upset the No. 2 ranked Ducks 72-66 at Desert Financial Arena.

ASU will receive its first opportunity to make up one of seven games that were postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. ASU is currently tied with Cal (9-5, 0-3) for the fewest conference games played among Pac-12 teams with three. The two teams will meet again shortly when Oregon comes to Desert Financial Arena Sunday at 2 p.m.
