The Arizona Diamondbacks have been one of the surprise teams in the 2023 MLB season.
The team was 31-23 entering Tuesday's games, good enough for the third-best record in the National League behind the 33-22 Los Angeles Dodgers and the 32-22 Atlanta Braves.
Is it too early to start mentioning the team as a contender for the 2023 MLB Playoffs?
Not according to early MLB postseason odds and probabilities, who get higher on Arizona's chances with each victory.
Baseball Reference currently gives the Diamondbacks a 68.6% chance to make the MLB postseason, with a 64.5% shot at being a Wild Card team and a 4.1% chance to win the NL West.
Fangraphs has the Diamondbacks with a 52.8% shot at earning an MLB Playoffs berth, with a 42.5% chance at being a Wild Card team and a 10.3% opportunity at winning the division.
PlayoffStatus.com is higher on Arizona's chances to make the postseason, giving the team a 69% chance to be a Wild Card team.
Tipico Sportsbook currently has the Diamondbacks at +1000 to win the NL West, behind the Dodgers (-550) and San Diego Padres (+850).

World Series odds for Arizona Diamondbacks
Baseball Reference currently gives Arizona a 1.8% chance to win the World Series.
Fangraphs puts the Diamondbacks' World Series chances at 2.2%.
PlayoffStatus.com puts Arizona's World Series winning chances at 6%.
Tipico Sportsbook currently has the Diamondbacks' World Series odds at +5000, which is 18th in the league.
Those numbers could continue to rise if Arizona can keep surprising in the 2023 MLB season.
