Anya Taylor Joy Goes Strapless In A Blue Latex Dress At The ‘Menu’ Premiere
Anya Taylor-Joy made a stunning appearance at the London premiere of her new film The Menu last week, and we’re still not over it! Taylor-Joy graced the red carpet in a strapless, curve-hugging gown with an epic side-slit and cobalt, latex material.
The Northman actress, 26, stunned in the intricate, eclectic Alexander McQueen piece, which featured a low neckline and a trendy asymmetrical high-low skirt with waist emphasis that helped flaunt her toned figure. The Emma star added matching opera gloves and stepped out in classic black Christian Louboutin black pumps to show off her long legs.

Taylor-Joy went for a minimal look when it came to accessories, and opted for a shiny Jaeger-LeCoultre 101 Reine white gold watch on one wrist. The Peaky Blinders alum wore her long, signature blonde tresses down, parted to the side for glamorous, Old-Hollywood-esque volume, and wavy, bouncy ends.

As for her makeup look, Taylor-Joy rocked a smokey, blended cat-eye, rosy blush and illuminating highlighter on her cheekbones, and added gloss to her reddish pout to top it all off.
The Amsterdam actress posed for several gorgeous solo shots on the carpet, and later was accompanied by her co-star Nicholas Hoult, 32, who matched her with a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch of his own, and also made a statement in a burgundy blazer, pink shirt underneath, and black tie.

Taylor-Joy’s new project, as reported by WWD, is described as a “black comedy-horror film” (and we’re excited as Taylor-Joy is no stranger to horror, having starred in hit films like The Witch and Split).
The movie was directed by Mark Mylod (known for working on popular television series like Game of Thrones and Shameless. Along with Taylor-Joy and Hoult, The Menu stars Ralph Fiennes, Judith Light and John Leguizamo. The flick debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022, and will be released in United States theaters on November 18th.

In The Menu, Taylor-Joy stars as Margot, a young woman who travels with her boyfriend (played by Hoult) to a remote island to eat at Hawthorne, an exclusive restaurant run by celebrity chef Julian Slowik (played by Fiennes).
The plot centers around Slowik preparing a lavish molecular gastronomy menu for his guests, where the food is considered conceptual art. Slowik’s approach to cuisine, however, has some jaw-dropping surprises in store for the wealthy diners. (We’re intrigued already!)
