Annual Easter egg hunt returns to Case-Barlow Farm
On Saturday, April 8 at 11 a.m., Case-Barlow Farm is hosting its Annual Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers to 10-year-olds. This hunt has become a tradition for families.
The farm yard will be filled with plastic eggs hidden in the garden beds, behind the trees, and around the fencing. Each child should bring their own Easter basket for egg collection. After the hunt, they will exchange their collected eggs for a special treat bag courtesy of the Burton D. Morgan Foundation. The Case-Barlow Farm Easter Egg Hunt is free to the public; however, attendees should pre-register in advance to allow the board members to plan for each age group. No walk-ins.
This event serves as a kick-off to spring and a great time for children to come to the farm. Last year's event included almost 300 children. The Easter Egg Hunt takes place rain or shine. It is likely that the farm will be muddy, so attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly. Attendees are asked to arrive early to be in place before the hunt begins. Toddlers will be invited to hunt first, followed by the older children. A parent or an adult must accompany all children.
