Less than a week after entering the transfer portal, Andrel Anthony Jr. has found his new home.

The East Lansing graduate and former Michigan wide receiver announced his commitment to the University of Oklahoma on his Twitter account Tuesday.

Anthony picked Oklahoma over numerous offers he received after putting his name in the portal. He had offers from major programs from across the country, including UCLA, California, Miami, Notre Dame, Penn State and his hometown school — Michigan State.

Anthony joins an Oklahoma program coming off a 6-7 season in its first under coach Brent Venables.

Anthony entered the transfer portal on Jan. 4 after playing two seasons at Michigan where he was a contributor on back-to-back Big Ten championship teams that reached the College Football Playoffs. He had 19 catches for 328 yards and four touchdowns in his two seasons with the Wolverines.

After having 12 catches for 248 yards and three touchdowns as a true freshman in 2021, Anthony had seven catches for 80 yards this fall for Michigan.
