Ambulance Arrives on Field After Damar Hamlin's Collapse
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin was taken to hospital after he collapsed on the field during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday, January 2.
The Buffalo Bills tweeted that Hamlin had suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit during the game. The team said his heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. “He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition,” the Bills said.
ESPN reported that Hamlin received CPR for a number of minutes before being taken off the field. Video by @nish_1love shows an ambulance arriving.
