Alabama CB Khyree Jackson to enter NCAA Transfer Portal

Recently, former five-star running back Trey Sanders enter the transfer portal as a graduate transfer. On Wednesday, cornerback Khyree Jackson entered the transfer portal as well according to a tweet posted by Chris Hummer of 247Sports.

Not too long ago, Alabama head coach Nick Saban spoke with the media and informed them that Jackson was currently suspended from the team for the last two games. The native of Upper Marlboro, Maryland played in nine games for the Tide this season.

In the two seasons that Jackson spent in Tuscaloosa, he tallied 14 tackles. He was projected by many to be the starting cornerback opposite sophomore Kool-Aid McKinstry. However, both Terrion Arnold and Eli Ricks saw more playing time this season than Jackson.

It will be interesting to see which schools decide to pursue Jackson and where he ultimately ends up landing.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Jackson’s collegiate career as well as other Alabama football news.
