Aesha Scott and Captain Jason Chambers React to *This* Below Deck Down Under Alum’s Return (UPDATED)
UPDATED (July 25, 1:07 P.M.): While appearing on the July 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Captain Jason Chambers revealed why he was initially a bit "nervous" to have Culver Bradbury back on board for Below Deck Down Under Season 2.
Host Andy Cohen asked if Jason was hesitant about having the deckhand back because he got "complacent" towards the end of Season 1.
"Definitely, but the boat needed the entertainment officer, so we went for that one," Jason said.

The CEO (that’s chief entertainment officer) of Below Deck Down Under is back!
Season 1 alum (SPOILER ALERT) Culver Bradbury officially returned to Australia to work on deck and to entertain the guests on M/Y Northern Sun on Episode 3 of the show’s sophomore season. After starting the season a man down, the deck team needed all the help they could get.
“Your boy is back in Australia,” Culver said as he approached the converted fishing vessel on the third episode. In a confessional, Culver urged viewers to “buckle up and get ready” because “we gon’ have ourselves a good time this season.”
During separate chats with The Daily Dish on July 6, both chief stew Aesha Scott and Captain Jason Chambers agreed that Culver brings the fun up a few notches whenever he’s on board. Find out what else they had to say about Culver by scrolling below.
Captain Jason Chambers’ Reaction to Culver Bradbury’s Return
As the only two Northern Sun crew members who had worked with Culver in the past, Jason and Aesha had unique perspectives on his return to Below Deck Down Under.
Jason was happy that Culver got a chance to try to redeem himself after the end of the last charter season.
“Look, it was fun,” Jason said about having the Maryland native back on board. “It gave Culver a little bit of an opportunity to, um, what’s the word? To pick himself up from the ending from last season, to show himself and myself that he’s got what it takes to get back on the horse and ride again.”

Jason teased that Culver’s ability to wear many different hats as the chief entertainment officer was an integral part of the charter season.
“He gets right into it. He was needed, he was definitely needed. The boat really needs the entertainment officer back on,” he added. “You know, he did his job well and he’s got a lot going on this season.”

Why Aesha Scott Was “Selfishly” Glad to See Culver Bradbury Again
Aesha was also enthusiastic about having Culver back on Below Deck Down Under.
“It was so, so exciting because of the familiarity. We get on really well,” she said. “He’s my friend, I love him.”
Plus, she added, she was happy that he was there to interact with the guests.

“But selfishly, the reason that I was the most excited is because he is so good at entertaining the guests. You saw last season: He brings his wigs with him everywhere; he brings all these costumes,” she continued. “And Culver’s someone where I can go to him with 15 minutes’ notice and be like ‘I need you to play this character and do a skit and do a dance and blah blah, and he’s like, ‘Absolutely — let me get changed!’ He brings out these performances, and he really helps me so much with giving the guests a good time.”
