1. It’s a night of sound and fury at Phoenix 2.0. Tantric will set the stage for Hinder, a group of hard rockers from OKC, who will channel the past couple of years with Welcome to the Freakshow. 2. Felling a little arty? Artipsy wants to help. They will be hosting a Friday and Saturday Paint and Party for you to do both. Paint a little, party a little- or vice versa. 3. In the late 1950s, Homer Hickam, a West Virginia coal miner’s son, defied his father’s wishes and formed a rocket club that would lead him to a life of adventure. October Sky is the story of the Rocket Boys, and it’s a movie you’ll want to see (or see again). Fly with the Rocket Boys at the featured matinee at Robinson Film Center. Their brunch is always delicious, but as you nosh, enjoy the live sounds of musician Phillip Taylor Crews, 11 am- 2 pm. 5. Harambee takes to downtown streets with their big Krewe of Harambee Mardi Gras/MLK Day Parade.
