3-star 2023 offensive tackle Joe Crocker decommits from Mississippi State football

STARKVILLE — Two days before the early signing period begins, Mississippi State football and new coach Zach Arnett have lost a commitment.

Three-star offensive tackle Joe Crocker, a three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, announced he is decommitting from MSU on Monday. The Nashville native and Franklin Road Academy product committed to Mississippi State in July.

"I would like to announce with all the recent changes, I am officially opening up my recruitment," Crocker wrote on Twitter. "I want to thank everyone at Mississippi State for the time spent recruiting me, but after long talks with my family I have decided it’s the best thing for me. Recruitment 100% open."
