26 former Cardinals players, coaches on Chiefs, Bucs for Super Bowl LV

The Arizona Cardinals did not make it to the Super Bowl and did not even make the postseason. However, there are a number of former Cardinals players and coaches who are part of the big game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Both teams have former Cardinals players and the Bucs have a coaching staff full of former Cardinals coaches.

Bucs LB/S Deone Bucannon

Bucannon played from 2014-2018 for the Cardinals and is a former Cardinals first-round draft pick.

Bucs QB Blaine Gabbert

The backup to Tom Brady for Tampa, he played for the Cardinals in 2017, starting five games.

Bucs LB Kevin Minter

Minter was a second-round draft pick of the Cardinals in 2013 and played four seasons for Arizona. He is a special teams captain for the Bucs.

Bucs RB T.J. Logan

Logan is on injured reserve. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the fifth round in 2017. He spent his rookie season on injured reserve and played in 2018 for them.

Bucs OL A.Q. Shipley

Shipley is also on IR. He played five seasons for the Cardinals, starting 51 games.

Bucs OL Ted Larsen

Larsen is on the practice squad. He was a starter for the Cardinals at guard in 2014 and 2015.

Bucs QB Drew Stanton

Stanton is also on the practice squad. He was the Cardinals' backup quarterback from 2013-2017 and started 13 games, going 9-4 as a starter.

Bucs OL Earl Watford

Watford is also on the practice squad. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the fourth round in 2013 and played 43 games, starting 21 of them, over four seasons in Arizona.

Bucs P Matt Wile

Wile is on the practice squad. He punted for the Cardinals briefly in 2016 and was in camp for the team in 2017. He won the punting job until the Cardinals signed Andy Lee.

Bucs HC Bruce Arians

Arians, in his second season as head coach of Tampa Bay, coached five years for the Cardinals. He is the Cardinals' all-time winningest coach.

Bucs assistant HC/run game coordinator Harold Goodwin

Goodwin was Arians' offensive coordinator for five years with the Cardinals.

Bucs OC Byron Leftwich

Leftwich was a coaching intern for the Cardinals in 2016, quarterbacks coach in 2017 and 2018, and he was promoted to offensive coordinator during the 2018 season after Mike McCoy was fired.
